Jessica Sparrow’s experiences reflect a deep commitment to storytelling and public policy. She earned her MFA from Roosevelt University and has, at times, been a newspaper reporter, museum exhibit developer, and legislative aide. She also directed communications for a gubernatorial campaign, where her favorite hours were spent writing speeches. She currently serves in elected office.
Jessica lives on five acres northwest of Chicago with her husband, father, two children, an accidentally-rescued cat, a one-eyed dog who can’t hear, and various species of plants and wildlife. Jessica writes upmarket and literary fiction.
